My Empower Therapy is a full-service, multidisciplinary clinic in Surrey, British Columbia, specializing in comprehensive therapy services for children, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior consultancy, with a focus on early intervention.

Location: Panorama Surrey Clinic and Surrey Newton Clinic – South Surrey Morgan Crossing – Langley

My Empower Therapy is hiring an additional experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)s for our clinics. pediatric clinical experience will be an asset; new clinicians are also encouraged to apply.

SLP will benefit from assistance of Behavior interventionists and SLPAs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be Registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C. CSHBC
  • ASHA Certified
  • Related clinical experience, supervision and or leadership skills will be an asset.
  • RASP registration is an asset
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is an asset
  • Fluent in English

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and their families to set Speech-Language goals which have targeted and measurable outcomes
  • Provide indirect service as in supervision to other SLP team members, coordinating with families and liaising with the community providers.
  • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based upractice
  • Provision of school consultations as and when needed
  • Formulate speech assessments and therapy goals
  • Train other therapists on goals and implementing them during sessions.
  • Oversee SLPA assessments and reports
  • Parent training and support

 

Part-time and full-time positions available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $72,000.00-$87,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Psychologist (R. Psych) to join our South Surrey team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ASD assessments and psychoeducational evaluations, and a passion for working in a child-focused, neurodiversity-affirming setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ASD diagnostic assessments (e.g., ADOS-2, DSM-5, developmental histories)

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

  • Prepare detailed, family-centered assessment reports

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals (SLPs, OTs, BCBAs, physicians)

  • Participate in case conferences and planning to support holistic client care


Compensation

  • Part-Time (25 hours/week): $156,000 – $200,000/year

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week): $240,000 – $323,800/year

  • No overhead fees or admin management — fully supported caseload and systems in place.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC)

  • Experience in autism spectrum diagnosis, psychoeducational testing, and clinical report writing

  • Training and/or experience with ADOS-2 preferred

  • Strong communication skills and commitment to family-centered care
